
Keeper Hill Hike
Located between at the eastern side of the Silvermines Mountains, Keeper hill is the highest mountain in the Shannon area. On clear days the views of Tipperary and beyond are spectacular. This out and back hike takes you through forest areas that are dotted with some historical sites such as a sweat house and a mass rock if you want to take a journey off the beaten path.

Anytime
Anytime of a clear day is amazing on top of Keeper Hill with some amazing views -
Start at the Car Park
When you leave carpark go to your right and walk 300m to a T-Junction
Turn right and follow the road for around 800m till you arrive at a Y-Junction
Take the elevated road to the left and walk for around 1.5km until you come to another Y-Juntion.
Take the road to the right and continue walking for another 500m until you come to another Y-Junction
Follow the road to the left for another 1.5km until you come to a T-Junction
Take the right turn and follow the road for another 1.8km until you reach a Y-Junction.
Take the elevated road to the left and continue on road until you reach the summit point beside the tower masts.
Come back the same way to the carpark
